The end of 2011 is almost here and you have a bunch of parties to attend... but nothing to wear!

If you're like me then you wait until the very last minute to do everything, including plan your outfits for parties and events you're going to for the holidays. But that's not going to happen this year since I've decided to play Santa's little fashion helper.

From casual get togethers with friends to your annual office party, here are a few of my  ideas for holiday outfits.

Legacy's Got Talent ( & Style)

In 5 days Belmopan will come alive as people from all over the country gather at the UB gym for a night of music, dance and drama. Now that the voting is all over, it's time for the lucky finalist to hit the stage at the Legacy's Got Talent Live Show. 

For me style and music goes hand in hand so I was curious to the see if these talented young artists felt the same way. With the kind help of one of the show's coordinators, Deidra, I asked some of the finalist a few questions about their style. Check out their answers.

Crazy Wild Freestyle

I really enjoy going to the beauty shop. You laugh, you gossip a little and the best part- you get beautified. 

But what really keeps you going back week after week is the trust you've developed in the skill of the beautician, specifically in the area of nail art.

I've posted some good designs from friends before, but when you're paying for it you want to be "WOW-ed" and I was more than blown away by the freestyle designs Miss Lydia came up with.

Thanks to my facebook news feed, I saw that Mirab in Belize City has begun to get in their Christmas stock. Nikita posted these two amazing shoes that she got there today.

It's that wonderful time of year again when you can wear jackets and boots in Belize and not look like a weirdo! With that said here's an outfit I put together for casual daytime wear. I think its perfect for chilly weather without over doing it. Let me know what you think.

Cartoon Nail Art Tutorial

Have fun with this quick and easy technique for a playful nail design inspired by a cartoon comic. Simple enough to do on your own or try on a friend. Thanks for sending this in Kristin!

1. If you have a base coat, apply that first.  Let it dry.
2. Use a white nail polish. I used Wet N Wild- Wild Shine in # 449C.
